IDC Care Humanitarian Initiative

Our Story
Starting in 2016, the IDC Care Humanitarian Initiative is a family-led humanitarian project dedicated to supporting families detained in Thailand’s Immigration Detention Center due to home displacement, visa scams, expired documents, or financial hardship. These individuals, many of them Black and Brown asylum seekers, are often overlooked, mistreated, not supported, and held in harsh conditions for months or even years. IDC Care brings dignity, support, and hope through community outreach, basic supplies, and fundraising to help get them out.
