Hi, I’m Joy Howard, the founder of BWIT and I’ve called Thailand home for the past 14 years. During this time, I’ve built a diverse career spanning teaching, marketing, project management, PR, and real estate. My work has taken me from classrooms to corporate campaigns, nightclub promotions, and luxury property development—giving me a unique perspective on business, culture, and lifestyle in Thailand. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Development and Psychology and am certified with the Thailand Real Estate and Brokerage Association (TREBA). Consultation Packages: Discovery Session – 30 minutes Quick Q&A, guidance on specific questions (real estate, lifestyle, education, business setup). Deep Dive – 60 minutes In-depth consultation with tailored advice, resource sharing, and actionable steps. Ideal for entrepreneurs, families, or those exploring relocation/business opportunities. Strategy Package – 3 x 60-minute sessions Ongoing support with follow-ups and a clear roadmap (business, lifestyle, or property focus). Trip Itinerary Planning Package - In addition to consultations, I also offer personalized trip itinerary planning for individuals, families, and groups visiting Thailand. Whether you’re looking for cultural experiences, hidden gems, luxury escapes, or family-friendly activities, I create custom itineraries tailored to your interests, budget, and schedule. This service can be booked as a standalone package, or as an add-on for consultation clients who want hands-on travel support after our session.
Cancellation Policy
BWIT Booking Policy Thank you for booking a consultation with Black Women in Thailand (BWIT). To ensure the best experience for everyone, please review our booking policies below: Booking Window: All appointments must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Same-day bookings are not available. Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before your scheduled time at no extra charge. Requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment cannot be accommodated. Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment are non-refundable. No-shows are considered forfeited appointments and are non-refundable. Additional Time: Consultations are scheduled based on the selected service duration. If you require extra time, additional fees may apply and will be invoiced separately. Virtual Consults: All consultations are conducted via Zoom or Google Meets. Please ensure you have a stable internet connection before your session. Respect & Community: BWIT consultations are a safe and supportive space. We ask all participants to come prepared with a notebook, be respectful, and ready to engage.
